Don’t waste your time at that office. You will wait at least an hour and a half past your appointment time. The nurse will come in for three minutes if you can get her to answer a question. If you want to see the doctor that you’re scheduled for it will be a much longer wait. They don’t ask you questions or try to help you understand what they are ordering or prescribing. It’s an infuriating experience. I will be finding a better doctor.
The service is horrible. They “front-load” their appointments for their convenience. 20 or more people with the exact same appointment times, many of which have to stand - all in a hot, small reception area. After an hour and twenty minute wait, I left. The reason they think they can get away with treating people like cattle is because we let them treat us like cattle.
My Family Dr. Sent me to Dr Afan to get lined up for a colonoscopsy so I traveled 40 miles to his location and went in and paid my copayment and gave them my insurance information. After 30 or so minutes they called me back and weighed me and took my BP. Then sent me down the hall to another room. A nurse came in and talked for a minute then handed me a paper to get the prep medicine for the procedure. Dr Irfan is a great Doctor but it’s a sad day when you have been a long time patient but call to make an appointment because of stomach pain and the receptionist tells you that it will be two months and there is nothing else she can do☹️
