I have visited Dr. Affue’s office multiple times and am grateful that I was finally able to receive a much-needed prescription. Unfortunately, the process of getting the prescription approved through the VA has been unnecessarily prolonged due to repeated delays in communication between the office and the VA. This Doctor is a complete quack. He tries to charge you cash for drugs from Mexico that the "ladies from his office buy" that cost more than you can get them for in the US with or without insurance. He did a cystoscopy on me that was the most painful thing that I ever endured because they didn't properly administer numbing gel. (I had another cystoscopy later that was done at UCSD correctly, and it was mildly uncomfortable but not too bad at all). Run as far away as you can from this clown of a doctor. His staff is rude & Affue has this very pompous attitude when you ask him any questions. Not even free would I return to this supposed Dr's office.
