He corrected another doctors failure to recognize an additional injury. I would have never walked and i was told nothing was wrong. He knew immediately what the injury was and fixed it surgically. He knew what the problem was this time too and will probably do surgery again. I totally trust him. He is an exceptionally skilled doctor.
This doctor always runs behind schedule, but that is because she takes the time to listen to your concerns. It is refreshing to have a doctor who cares enough to spend time with her patients rather than just order lab work and write out prescriptions.
He is board certified, he is the reason I still walk. I was one of his Board certification cases. I had an accident Saturday in same ankle. 18 years later I am going back to him. Need I say more?
You'll wait for hours if you even get an appt. Not unusual to wait one to two hours. Staff is rude, nurses are rude. Dr. Borghi-Cavallaro is never available so you'll end up see the PA. Get em in, get em out seems to be the normal here. You will get lectured and made to feel small if the Dr. feels you are not meeting her standards. She acts like she doesn't believe you most times or doesn't want to deal with an issue. Talks down to you and pushes her beliefs into her medicine. Referrals are the common place here. Can't make ... read more
I moved out of state, and miss Dr. Borghi after being with her nearly 20 years. She has been human, sharing, thorough and supportive throughout major health crises such as cancer and heart surgery. She also knows some fingerspelling and signs and has been terrific about providing interpreters when needed. I haven't found a new doctor as great and am still looking.
Dr. Flemister is an amazing surgeon. He is the only reason that I am able to walk and work.He had to do an extensive procedure, which required a non ambulatory status if 8 weeks. He always returns calls, sometimes on a Friday evening!!!! He ended up needing to see my daughter many years later, and was able to conservatively manage her condition without surgery. In my eyes, this is an amazing doctor!
He performed ankle surgery on 2 of my daughter's and did a fantastic job. He has always been courteous, helpful, answered all questions, asked if we had any more questions, and just pleasant overall. At the time I brought my daughter's in, I also was suffering from a complex, severe orthopaedic problem that I was seeing a different doctor for. The first time I brought one of my daughter's in, he asked what was going on with me, and each subsequent visit he has asked how I was doing and what treatment I was getting. He never ... read more
Typical Ortho Dr with a HUGE ego and absolutely no bedside manner. He performed surgury - which I am sure he did well. But if you did not know what type of questions to ask about rehab (I did since I had previous knee surgery) he did not offer much input. I know he is good, that is why I picked him...but his attitude/helpfulness leaves a lot to be desired.
My regular Doctor, Dr. Booth was on vacation when I had immense back pain that required me to miss a week of work and not be able to use my legs. My spine literally locked up in the worst pain i've ever imagined! (i'm 21) So my parents, after three days of nothing working brought me in to see Dr. Borhgi and she immediately told me that I was imagining the pain. She then told me that on a lab result I got back A YEAR AGO she noticed I wasn't taking a particular medicine. I told her I was using herbal supplements and she insis... read more
