Came here for a hematology issue. They didn’t have anything for months for an acute issue. Luckily my family knows a doctor that made a call to Dr. Akhtar to get in sooner. The visit was very rushed even though it’s a simpler issue. The doctor wasn’t bad but the person at checkout scheduling the next appointment was horribly rude. I would expect an office that also specializes in oncology to have kinder office workers for the population it deals with. Very unreliable and doesn't care about his patients or helping prolong their lives. DO NOT go to this doctor!!!!!
I went to this Dr. Due to a second opinion. I have no regrets this Dr explained everything to me with time and patience. Also gave me the best plan for my Breast Cancer. I have no regrets switching oncologist. He has MANY year’s experience and very patient. I recommend him. Thank you Doc.
