Surgery day bait-and-switch. Months wasted and $1,900 in copays. I met with Dr. Adham Saad twice for an inguinal hernia repair: my first appointment was September 22, 2025, and my second appointment was Monday, December 29, 2025. Dr. Saad agreed to perform the surgery with clearance from my cardiologist. I had a very complicated flank hernia mesh I needed repaired. Multiple doctors would not touch it and told me I was fine. Finally I found Dr. Saad who was willing to do imaging and sure enough I was reherniated. Dr. Saad and Dr. Ellinberger did an absolutly amazing job. They were able to repair my hernia at Tampa General robotically which was way less invasive. just three little cuts compated to the foot long incision I had the first time. If you have a complicated hernia or a repair he is your guy.
USF is supposed to be the Best of the Best, if best means urgent appointments are booked 7 months out, you decide if you’re important or not. Also using the patient portal and finding misinformation in it is extremely disheartening and I expect more from the Best of the Best! Do better! One last thing, don’t quote or create videos of services you are absolutely unwilling to perform, it’s false hope and false advertising!
Refused to repair painful hernia, I think the Parkinson’s scared him. Also put false info in my chart. Help anybody. It’s been 2 years since Covid which really affected it, if you watch Tampa general hiatel hernia clinic with Dr saad, false !!!!! I have a hernia affecting everything all parts of my life, I’m already disabled now this someone help. I would not go unless your extremely ill or dying, supposed to be top hospital in country , “we define it” thank you.
