My pcp,orthopedic surgeon and my oncologist are all at Mercy Defiance. I will not go anywhere else for any of my health issues. They have always treated me with so much care and compassion that I will never go anywhere else. They are the best.

Dr, Shelke is the worst oncologist I have had the displeasure of meeting. I have blood disorder - undiagnosed now for 9months and Dr. Shelke dribbled on how I must have a bleed due to a "menstrual period" when I'm 62yrs old and have had a full hysterectomy- He likes to hear his own voice. He also insisted that I had a gastro bleed after I had undergone 6 different tests and the gastroenterologist dismissed me. BE AWARE!! On 12-23-24 I took my mother to St. Annes with a low platelet count of 119. She is fatigued, low energy, bruising because of the clotting.. Dr. Shelky was hematologist available because her her regularly seen hematologist is on vacation/ not available. After (2) CBC BLOOD TESTS AND (1) CBC w/ diff. All (3) Platelet counts were low, in conjunction with a lab draw of 112 that was preformed on 12/20-24.
