Dr. Abdus Salam, and his team at Inova Fairfax Hospital are the most caring and knowledgeable people when it comes to apheresis. Every time my daughter had to have a plasma transfusion, he was there to make sure all went well. It didn't matter what day it was, weekday or weekend, he was there. He always took the time to explain what was happening. His staff at Inova, Joanne, Phuong, Rebecca, Ashely and Jennifer always did their utmost to make my daughter feel comfortable and attend to her.
