Due to this doctor's negligence, I lost my vision. During a cataract procedure, Dr. Aarup Kubal left part of my lens in and didn't remove it all. He then implanted an artificial lens in my eye and tore the capsule of my eye, causing me to lose my sight because my retina was torn. After this negligence, I had two eye surgeries and was given a selecon strap around my eye to support the retina. Now, even glasses don't help. My vision is distorted, and I can't see far or near.
Dr. Kubal has good reviews. No complaint about him. However my experience was not good with the office administration. I request a estimate for my copay two weeks before the appointment, I never received it until two hours before my appointment. I paid the high copay expecting the best eye exam ever for my cataract problem. I got a skin allergy test which cost the most of my copay. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr Kubal . I was sent by a retina specialist for high eye pressure. As a medical professional I take notice of medical practices and was very impressed with his office and his extremely professional staff . They were kind and helpful on what was a very stressful day for me. Dr.Kubal explained everything and listened to my concerns. This is a family run practice and their dedication shows. I look forward to my continued treatment.
