In my short time of treating with Dr. Kunkel, I have found him to be one of the best doctors. Not only is he very knowledgeable about treating the spine. He also, was very truthful. You don’t ever have to worry about him recommending any unnecessary surgeries or procedures because he is into making sure that you feel better !! Not the bottom line. I’ve been having lower back issues for a while. It came to a point where I had to have surgery. The VA hospital sent me to see Dr. Kunkle for this procedure. Dr. Kunkle was amazing, he walked me through all the steps that were going to happen before, during, and after surgery. Dr Kunkle is the best doctor I've ever had, hands down! I had a lumbar fusion 30 days ago and my recovery is exceeding my expectations, and with minimal pain.I attribute much of that to his skill as a surgeon.
