Dr Santiago is in the process of causing my fiance and I to lose everything! Once his injections didn't work, he started treating my fiance like a drug-seeker! Especially after he told him about negative side effects after an epidural. Dr. Santiago hasn't even seen him since, but has decided it is completely unrelated. Not a very good experience. I've had several appointments and procedures, but he barely talked to me and he doesn't respond to messages. I always feel like I'm imposing on him. I couldn't get in to see him until I'd had several appointments with the nurse practitioner. I've had 5 years of stomach and abdominal pain, I had my gallbladder removed, but the pain is getting worse, and still no solutions. And I can't get a response from anyone. I was hoping a specialist might care enough to help me find the cause and a cure.
Please avoid Dr. Spizzirri at all costs! She performed an unnecessary big toe osteotomy on my right foot in 2022 and I was much worse after. I went to two orthopedic surgeons, on at Northwester and one at Rush, and both agreed she should not have performed that surgery. I had to have a second surgery to fix the damage she caused.
Doctor Ramkumar has been my GI doctor for many years. He helped thru my Hep C battle for many years and finally getting me the treatment, I needed to defeat this terrible disease. He was so kind and caring as if I was a family member. On a scale to 1 to 5 he is a ten among the many doctors I have seen. I applaud him and his professional but personal care he gives his patience. Thank Doc, you are the man.
She bills patients unnecessarily for treatments. I went in for a $0 preventative care visit and ended up with a bill for more than $300. When I moved to a new doctor, he was able to immediately treat chronic conditions I've suffered with for more than 5 years with this doctor.
He is kind and very professional. Started treatments and very slowly reduced my opioid use by 90% with very little discomfort. My life has never been better.
Responds poorly to respectful feedback. Was fired for asking her not to talk about my 11 year olds diet or weight because it isn’t an issue. She had someone call me, didn’t have the decency to tell me herself either.
