This is a unique facility that concentrates on stroke and spinal cord injuries. Devon is a tremendous resource in improving one’s condition. The other trainers are also very committed and helpful. Just witnessing the drive of participants keeps driving you. The assistance American Fitness Legion provides for free classes and open gym is remarkable. They truly assist a group that is usually ignored. An agency that truly deserves support.

If you are reading this, chances are that you are deciding whether to check DPI adaptive fitness out. As a client for 6 years, I can vouch for them and tell you the answer is unequivocally "yes": come in and see the place and meet some people. This gym is amazing! I love coming here. I have hydrocephalous, a neurological disorder. It mainly affects my walking, balance, and coordination. Because of that, my strength is affected. I was referred here by my physical therapist. I love the variety of exercises and love my trainer. I plan on this to be a long time commitment.

I went to DPI because my doctor referred me. Devon helped me get my strength back and manage the pain after the spinal surgery. He’s very good at adapting exercises to my needs and abilities depending on the day, so if other physical therapists didn’t work for you, you have to try Devon!
