I needed a simple hardware update (new keyboard on laptop), but they wanted to charge $54 for a diagnostic that I didn't need. It seemed ridiculous to charge for something that isn't necessary. I had just wiped the disk and installed a new OS. Besides, a Mac really doesn't need a diagnostic. When I change my tires, the shop doesn't charge for a mandatory computer diagnostic of my systems or an unnecessary oil change. I will never go back there.

I brought in my one year old printer with a printing issue. I paid a diagnostic fee but needless to say after almost 2 days I have to pick it back bec I have not received a call to inform me ( as i was told) of the status of the equipment. This took.place just very recently.
