My 1 1/2 horse pool pump motor burned out. I called my pool place, but they were closed on Monday. They said they could get someone down in a week. I called another pool place and they wanted to sell me a variable speed pump which would cost $2,650 installed toward the end of the week. I wouldn't have benefitted from a variable speed pump as I pump the pool water 2 stories up to my roof where it is solar heated. I called DP, and they said maybe they could fix it.
