It sure what’s going on with both New Orleans locations recently. Freret street loaded my calzone with banana peppers and no tots, instead of jalapeños. I hate banana peppers, don’t was bad. Then the next day, no cheese in the calzone at Decatur.
As a business owner , I make it my business to support and spotlight local food spots — especially ones that claim to be known for something as iconic as calzones. So I came into D.P. Dough with an open mind and high hopes. Unfortunately, from the moment I walked through the door, this visit turned into a huge disappointment. Let’s start with the customer service — or lack of it. Good food, relatively inexpensive. Very happy it’s open late.
Coulda used more sauce, but some of the best calzones in New Orleans. Love this place
Went here after our match and was exactly what I was looking for, was delicious and the guy who served us was amazing and super friendly. Will definitely be going back!
