Not even worth the one star rating! dowson and turco lawyers have taken full advantage of my father! He hired them and was quoted 74k which he agreed to. He told them on numerous occasions that if the work was going to exceed this amount that they WERE TO STOP WORKING! each time he was told that it wouldn’t go above this amount, he was told this by Ella not once, not twice but at least 3 times both over the phone and in person. I was quoted $74,000 for legal work, which I agreed to. I made it clear, three separate times over the past few months, that I am a pensioner and that if the cost were to exceed $74,000, they were to stop. Each time, their lawyer Ella assured me it wouldn’t go beyond that amount. About a month ago, I visited their office and was told I now owed $89,000.
