My wife and I stayed at the El Amador so we could go to a concert at the Rialto Theater and not have to drive home. The stay was excellent, for many reasons. The room we stayed in was the Fountain room which was spacious with tall ceilings and fine furniture. The room was stocked with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Cool old school place with awesome patios.
We stayed in the rooms and used the courtyard for a wedding. It worked well for the event and the staff worked hard to care for our needs and the needs of the event. As with any wedding, there were issues (unrelated to the venue or their staff) and the staff of El Amador were quick to make adjustments in accord with our changing needs. They are top notch.
My brother had his wedding here and we stayed the night before and the night of the wedding. It was very convenient to have our rooms on-site. The rooms were very comfortable. Many guests at the wedding commented on what a beautiful venue it is. The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout the event and planning process as well.
Beautiful spacious room. Quiet. Really nice courtyard.
