I'm a pretty simple traveler, my reviews are based on 5 easy criteria: cleanliness/safety of the property, friendliness/helpfulness of the staff, cleanliness/function of the room, is there hot water, does the TV work. My stay at the SLO Inn this time: property is clean and well kept, room/bed was great for the price, water was awesomely hot! Terrible service and absolutely disgusting room. Had to stay here for one night and the shower was broken, the bed had brown stains, and checking in experience was shit. Don’t stay here unless you are desperate.

I have stayed at this place a couple of times when I go to San Luis Obispo to see my grandchildren. I only sleep there. Each time there has been something wrong with something in the bathroom. The first time I came, the water faucet for the shower turned on, but broke when I turned it off! Water was just flooding into the tub shower! They moved me to another room for repairs. The another time the bathroom fan was so unstable it made the light flicker like a strobe. I just unscrewed it! I also noticed black stains on the shee... read more
