We just love the municipal trash compactor that DRI and the City decided to install forty feet from our five star Inn on Campbell. We decided to close the Inn because our guests were awakened every night... as we were in our residence. The noise and the smell are so bad that we cannot enjoy living in our own home. Thanks DRI and the City for making our Downtown investment and experience so shitty... yeah!!
Roanoke area is a terrible place to live. I have been here for over fifteen yrs. Come from smaller town near Abingdon va. People here are rude clickish. Also very low class and mean spirited people no southern charm as this town makes its self out to be. Everyone out for themselves. Roanoke city is runned down with a space ship of a building in middle of it. It boosts of iconic sign like the coffee sign which is not working half time plus a Dr pepper sign that is half busted.
