I grew up in Racine and am thrilled to see downtown coming to life again after being away for 24 years.
We moved to Racine slightly over 10 years ago after doing Relocation Road trips to 19 towns in 7 states. We have not been disappointed. We had a list of things we wanted in a new town and a new home and we found everything we were looking for and much more. There are some people who berate Racine and have very negative things to say, but we don't concur with those views. Before owning Uncorkt, my wife and I would spend almost every Friday evening downtown Racine. It was our go to spot for drinking, food, shopping and just an all around great time. Now I try to keep that still going by owning a business.
