A long overdue review - I lived in a DD apartment for 2 years, and now have been moved out for a bit due to wanting to try a different part of LR. I can definitely say I'd rent with them again if circumstances aligned! Repair work is quick, and management is super helpful and quick to respond if you have issues. If you're new to town, I definitely recommend renting with DD - they really curate a safe and friendly environment.
If you like living in a poorly written episode of Designing Women, this is your place. Let me explain, I moved into their 515 East 8th Street units, cozy, but all the windows were painted shut and as of today, still are because any work to free these windows would create a lead based paint issue so I chose to leave them alone. Until Mrs. Judy and Mr. Brown became the new owners of Eastside Lofts, I lived with unrepaired bathroom doors for 3 years. I haven't met Mr. Brown but Mrs. Judy is really kind and very compassionate. Hopefully, you'll get the opportunity to met them one day! Then there's the administration (Mrs. Patricia, Mrs. Foster) The team is very friendly and helpful! Yes, they respond to emails.
