I've been renting for 20 years and this is best landlord I've had. Their lease agreement was more confusing and intimidating than all the apartment leases I've signed before, but once you get past that, this is a landlord that's very genuine, one that cares about the upkeep of their buildings and the MacArthur Park / SOMA community.
I have lived in my DD apartment for three years. It has been my favorite living situation of all time. I love my charming building and the thoughtful staff. The thing that makes renting from DD a standout experience is the maintenance team: Haley, KB, and Monica. They are truly amazing and respond to any concern quickly and effectively. There is a strong sense of community in our neighborhood and I always feel safe. Our landlord, Jill, throws an annual party for the tenants. Living here has been wonderful.
Downtown Dwellings and thier staff have been wonderful . This by far has been the best rental agency I have dealt with personally in my adult life. From the first moment I contacted them, their service was quick, kind, and helpful. The buildings they have restored are beautiful and true to the historic nature.
