The local pharmacy in Leavenworth closed & transferred our scripts to Walgreens without our permission. I will not use Walgreens (or Walmart) so I transferred our scripts to CVS (also the preferred pharmacy of our insurance), but they kept messing up my scripts, so I started looking for a new pharmacy. Since we go to breakfast at Flashbacks quite often, I checked into Downtown Drugstore. We have been very happy since!!!! We have been there for a very short time but they know us by name already!!! My wife and I have been going to Downtown Pharmacy, of Tonganoxie Ks. for a few years now. We are slow to criticize, and slow to be negative people at all. And, we would much rather give our money to Local people, over franchised Pharmacies. After saying all of that, this is by far the worst Pharmacy, with the most rude Pharmacist, and staff that we have ever seen!! I called to get information about a prescription, but the person I spoke with was very brief, and their tone came across as uninterested and dismissive. It felt like they were rushing through the conversation and weren't fully engaged in addressing my concerns.
