Hometown favorite My family has gone here frequently for past 20 years. The food, beers and root beer are really good. We have never been disappointed. I remember when they had specials like 2-for-1 steak night and each night was a different special. The quality has stayed pretty stable despite ownership changes. My husband and sons recently had a great afternoon with the pool tables! SLO Brew (as it will forever be called by locals) is a hometown favorite.
Downtown Brewing Co I've seen a lot of great live shows here. They have terrific beers. Also have good food served upstairs. I most like to go when a great band is playing.
Great Brewery The beer at the SLO brewing company is great, They have a wonderful selection of home brews. They also have a great food menu and local bands that play on the weekends making it a great atmosphere.
