My sister and I were on a road trip and about to drive out into the desert when our car started overheating for seemingly no reason. Dave took a look at it right away. He suggested a restaurant for breakfast while we waited. He called a couple of hours later letting us know he fixed the problem and that he would feel comfortable sending his own daughters out on the road. Extremely good service, fast, reliable, and kind workers.

This is the best shop in the area, because they're someone you can trust. If they can do it, they charge a FAIR price. If they cant, they tell you they cant repair it. Or, they tell you other things that are wearing, like 50% wear on brake pads. I had an a/c issue with my Honda CRV. Dearlership told me $1,500.00, because it needs a new compressor. Dave at Downtown Auto said, "Compressor works... no leaks...I just recharged it." With the other things I had done, I saved $1,400.00. Thanks Downtown Auto (Dave)!

Downtown Auto looked at my car and told me they could not do anything to repair my vehicle. The transmission was burned out and they suggested a couple of other shops in the area. They could have just old me they could fix it and charged me an arm and a leg but they were upfront and honest and even though they did not do any repairs I would take my car to them next time and would recommend them. It iks hard to find someone to work on your car that is honest. I was coming from out of state to California when my car broke down... read more
