If 5 years later your still buying into this covid BS then this is the dentist for you. However if you realize that this is in fact just a virus like all other virus, then proceed with caution. I understand stuff happens, and waits happen if someone requires more time than anticipated but to use COVID as the excuse you don't have stuff for kids while they wait over half an hour is ridiculous. Dr. Chen and his team have provided a great service to my teeth. The whole experience has always been very friendly, efficient, professional, and comfortable. On August 20, 2024 late in the afternoon, I had a bizarre and unsettling encounter on the front steps of Downstream Dental In Courtenay when picking up a replacement for a defective appliance I had been fitted for by Dr Chen. As I was leaving a staff member approached me and asked if I was driving. An unusual question, but yes I told her I was driving. Then she asked me: Have you been drinking?
