My experience at Downstate Medical Center has been mixed. On the positive side, my doctor is excellent - kind, attentive, professional, and truly supportive. The floor where I receive care is also well maintained, and I appreciate the medical treatment she is receiving. However, my concern is with the professionalism of some of the nursing staff and hospital staff and the overall environment in common areas. This has always been my hospital. Where most of my doctors are. I have no complaints about this hospital.

Unbelievable been here since 7pm ,so call nurses say they called and now it’s 11:26 I had to sign up all over again smh.
