We went on the Southern Downs Steam train with some friends yesterday to Stanthorpe for a wine tasting adventure. The train was amazing and dedicated volunteers were absolutely outstanding. These are the people that make days out like this special. A big shout out to Eileen our carriage attendant who not only was fantastic in the carriage but also gave us ride home with all the great wine that bought!!! Thank you for a great day and hats off to all the volunteers.

Myself, my husband and a friend of ours went on a Downs Explorer winery tour on 21st February. It was an exceptionally enjoyable day. The train ride was a great way to see the countryside and heritage locations between Warwick & Stanthorpe. The coach ride was a great way to learn about local history and do wine tasting at a few local wineries. We all loved the experience but only wish there was more time at each winery to properly savour the flavours on offer.
Enjoyed a wonderful trip to Clifton, Lunch, Dinner and a movie. The staff were all pleasant and helpful and made it a memorable day. Highly recommended
