Amazing experience despite the fact that steam train broke down and we were pulled by old diesel, still awesome and a lot of fun! It was 2 hours round ride from Warwick during Jumpers and Jazz in July festival in Warwick. Tickets were from $30, absolutely worth it!
It was fun to travel on a vintage steam train from Warwick to Goondiwindi. The staff were great, and provided a running commentary. We stopped at Inglewood station, where the Lions Club provided a delicious lunch.
It's a nice trip with friendly staff in historical carriages, but as the previous reviews state - there is no steam and will not be back before 2025. And they don't tell you that upon booking. If you are after the steam train experience, go elsewhere.
Great time had by all. Credit to all the volunteers that make this totally enjoyable.
