Very disappointing! We had downriver pools close our pool and we had no issues. There were buckets holding our stairs down so they removed the stairs and kept the buckets in (thought they left it there for a reminder of where to put the stairs). Come around to open time, the lady on the phone was pleasant, I explained that water and debris was on top of the tarp, she said that wasn’t a problem. 3 guys showed up late in the evening and before I could even get outside, they had the tarp removed and had everything dumped into o... read more

Are u hiring 14 year olds for a job
I hired Down River to open my pool in May, and I am extremely disappointed with their service. Our pool has a tucked-in cover that required careful debris removal before opening. Unfortunately, instead of properly cleaning the top of the cover to ensure minimal debris entered the pool, the technicians pushed all the debris to the center and dumped it directly into the pool. I’ve done business with Downriver since they installed our pool in 2020, and they must be one of the most inconsistent companies I’ve worked with. One crew did a great job on the pool, the next stood on the street smoking while the $10K concrete patio over-dried, then they completely ruined the finish by dumping a bucket of water on it. Pool openings are just as unpredictable; they might clean your cover, or not. They may turn on your pump, or salt cell, or a different guy might not.
