Jim was very helpful in solving our problem. We have a very personal woodwork item that has been broken for a long time and he figured out quickly how the make it work again. His other woodwork projects are very impressive.
We worked with Jim to design and build a custom chest of drawers for our infant son, and it was a wonderful experience. From the start, Jim was collaborative and responsive - he sent us design files to review and adjust so we could really personalize the piece. His pricing was fair and transparent, and we especially appreciated the chance to visit his shop while the chest was being built. Jim took a lovely, but unusually-shaped slice of wood (think elongated leaf) and created a piece of furniture art! I can’t say enough about his skills and sense of design. I love this unique little tripod table!
Jim was a delight from start to finish. He refinished two tables for us one Pine and the other cherry. He is not only an incredibly interesting man, but also a consummate craftsman and worked with me to make sure that everything was just right. I recommend him highly
I booked Jim's woodworking workshop as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and it turned out to be the most amazing experience!
