Jim is very kind and talented wood worker who is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend him for any of your woodworking questions and projects.
Our 50 yo table suffered water damage from houseplants. Jim did a fine job smoothing the damage and refinishing.

Jim replaced a broken runner on an antique rocker. It was a perfect match, and as he explained, because the grain in the wood followed the curve of the rocker, the chair was stronger. This rocker has been in my family a long time so has great sentimental value. The fact that Jim agreed to do what for him was a minor repair and do it so devotedly is doubly appreciated.
Jim was very helpful in solving our problem. We have a very personal woodwork item that has been broken for a long time and he figured out quickly how the make it work again. His other woodwork projects are very impressive.
