Sail on the legend! Continuing in the tradition of our historic vessels including the 2 masted Bailey Louise Todd is the 151' Schooner Margaret Todd. Launched in April, 1998, she is the first 4 Masted Schooner to work New England waters in over half a century. We offer 3 trips daily 10 am, 2 pm and sunset. Join us for a leisurely sail among the Porcupine Island of Frenchman's Bay. Was quite disappointed on our “cruise” left the dock and sat, floating in the same spot for a good 40 minutes doing nothing but floating. Not quite what it tells you it’s going to be online. No wind in the sails other than departure. The “lighthouse” that was talked about miles away. Felt like it was somewhat of a rip off. The crew was nice other than that, I wouldn’t recommend.
We had an incredible time on the Margaret-Todd. My husband was able to help raise the sails on two masts and loved it. The sunset was gorgeous.
This was the highlight of our trip to Bar Harbor. Just us and the Captain on a century old lobster sailboat. Weather was windy and we got max speed. So much fun. One of those once in a lifetime events. We will remember this 2 hours of sailing for the rest of our lives. Our Captain was awesome and made the trip that much more special.
A beautiful boat with an amazing crew. We had a spectacular day on the harbor. The crew was so informative helping the passengers get ready for the sails, then we just sat back and relaxed
