What an amazing scenic tour on the Down East Railroad!!! The old engine and passenger cars date to the late 1800s and early 1900s and were quite comfortable. The crew and staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes old trains and Down East history. It was Wicked Good!!!
Scenic should removed from the name. You do go through an area with Osprey nests and end at a lake. But for 90% of the ride you look at the back of businesses, gas stations and go through the middle of a high school complex.
A fun way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of history!
