Downeast Jewelers received a wedding ring stack from me that had been passed down from my parents, the rings did not fit and had seen better days. Real people giving their best. Ive been a customer of Kay's jewelers for over a decade. Recently moved and now Kay's is far away. I went to this shop purely for an appraisal for insurance purposes. Almost everything they had on was custom made in house. Beautiful designs that escaped the spirit of downeast Maine. When the time comes to design and purchase my next item, I know where I'll be going.
I truly wish I could leave a better review, because the ring itself was absolutely beautiful and exactly what I wanted. That’s honestly what makes this whole experience so disappointing. What should have been a simple process turned into months of stress, confusion, and constant follow-ups on my end. Absolutely the best experience ever. From the moment I walked in and inquired about rings, they made me feel valued. Professional and homelike all in one. The ring came out fantastic, so beautiful. Not 5 but 10 stars for this business.
