It was great. The atmosphere, wait staff, the whole environment.
Will never recommend. Needed a windshield replaced. Went to them because they had a good deal on the windshield I needed. And also had a deal of getting a $25 Amazon Gift card. Made my appointment, man showed up and replaced the windshield and informed me the gift card would be mailed to be next week. Month goes by with nothing. This location is closed. I called another Maine location on 1/12/2018 to confirm. I had my windshield replaced less than a year ago and the seal on the drivers’ side is now separated from my car. This is dangerous! Safelite Glass has always done an excellent job for me, however I was lured by the price with Downeast. I should’ve done my homework. I can say that at the time of scheduling and installation this company was timely helpful and well mannered.
Downeast Glass did a terrible job on my vehicle. It took three appointments to get the windshield in as they had to repeatedly try to fix it and it was never done correctly. I was told it was an OE-Original Equipment windshield which was a lie, as it was proven to be by another glass company that had to remove it and correct the job. They caused damage to the paint and a mess inside the vehicle.
Have had them do several auto glass replacements for me. So far so good, prompt, good communication and competitive pricing.
