Chris was so vital in our birth journey. Not only was it my first pregnancy, but it was with twins! We went with her full package, which was worth every penny. One reason my husband and I went with her was because as an active duty Marine family, Chris also was a Marine wife so she was able to connect with us on that level which we really appreciated. I worked with Chris and another doula from Richmond Birth and Baby after the birth of our third. Chris helped us overnight for the few weeks following our child’s birth. Chris is incredibly warm and comfortable and made our entire family feel at ease! I would highly recommend Chris as a postpartum doula - I knew that our baby was in very capable hands and it was so helpful for me to get some much-needed rest as I recovered.

SO much to say about Chris! She is such a warm and calming person who I would DEFINITELY trust to be my doula if I were to have one. I met with her and decided against getting a doula for financial reasons, but was so impressed that when my sister became pregnant with twins and mentioned she wanted to use one I blabbed about for Chris for hours and wouldn't let her hire anyone else. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chris! For starters, I knew instantly that Chris was going to be our doula the moment I met her — truly such a warm, personable and caring individual. We found Chris after we had a rough experience at a hospital at 24 weeks. We realized we needed somebody to help us navigate the hospital, ask the right questions, and advocate for what we wanted. We were thrilled to find Chris to be our birth doula. She has a such a calm and sweet demeanor. She was knowledgeable and asked the right questions. We knew we were in good hands.
