Very Dishonest about repairs. Avoid this dealer. I bought a truck from them about 2 months ago and they told me they had the a fresh complete rebuild on engine. The engine started smoking when I was delivering a load i had it towed, two the mechanic and when the mechanic took the engine apart, he told me that a lot of the components were not changed, and the new part they put were junk aftermarket. If you buy a truck from this dealership you would have the peace of mind that you got a good deal and your money was spent well. Very professional, friendly, and honest people at down south eqquipment. My next purchase will definitely be from there, dealership.
3 days ago I applied for financing through down south truck sales for a blue Pete 379 4 axle, I called Monday morning to check the status of the funding and Greg said he should know something by the end of the day, I said ok I’ll be on a flight but I’ll check back. So Hil financial text me to call them so I text back saying I would reach out when I got off the plane and that they would probably be closed by that time. Over priced trucks. Do not buy. You can go to a dealer build ur own truck to ur liking for just as much and get all the warranties on the truck. This dealer is a scam. I'd stay away unless u got money to blow
