Many menu items were unavailable. The pork chop and mac were both salty. The salad tasted like they didn’t wash the lettuce. The server was very nice and attentive but he did not take the salad off like he said once I sent it back after the first bite. I kept having to fan flies away from my food the entire time I was eating. I will not return based on the quality of food. Best thing I received was the service.
Amazing food and exceptional customer service! We visited Cajun Eats on 8.1.26 and had a wonderful experience. They were short-staffed and let us know upfront that the wait would be longer than usual, which we really appreciated. Despite the circumstances, Donna and Danny went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They consistently checked on us, kept us updated, and made sure the wait never felt like a burden. My boyfriend and I went to Down South last night and everything was 10/10. We had the lamb chops for the appetizer and hot damn they were fantastic! I had the seafood gumbo with a side of dirty rice, and he got the seafood mac’n cheese with wings… and we are still raving about how delicious everything was a full 24 hours out. Our waitress was also spectacular! I wish I could remember her name so that I could give her a proper shoutout. We cant wait to go back. Hands down, best cajun cuisine in Pflugerville!
