A small friendly place , quiet near lots of things to do . We have ATV Access and in the winter as long as we have the snow we have snowmobile access also. the Northern forest canoe trail across the street. Speed way 51 race track about 2 miles away. Come and enjoy the North Country.

The Down Home Motel is a warm and friendly stay. This motel is extremely clean. The owners are lovely people. They have great personality. This motel is a great place to stay for hunters, (Moose, deer and bear season)fishermen and especially for people who snow mobile. The Down Home Motel has access to the snow mobile trail right on their property. The snow mobile trail is a great trail and is usually groomed by December 15th providing that their is snow.
