I went to this hospital 2 times both failures. 1 had a Liz-Franc fracture, and they told me it was a sprain. 2 Went there last night for a laceration to my head, sat in waiting room head bleeding for two hours without being seen. People weren't being seen. When others started walking out, I took my leave as well. I am still mad at the fact that they only keep you there until you get fed up and leave. They still charge your insurance. Disgraceful!!!
I was so grateful to have such excellent care at the Machias Down East Hospital E.R. today. From ALL of the nurses to the Doctor who attended to me, they ensured great quality of care. No one is thrilled to have to go to the E.R., but overall this was a very pleasant experience with knowledgeable, kind, and professional providers. Thank you!
easiest ER experience I've had-- Monday morning in and out in 2 hours. the Dr and nurse assigned to me were both really great. thanks for making a "bad experience" go really smooth!!
