Through pre-op, surgery, post-op and recovery all the nurses & support staff at DECH gave clear explanations & made me feel comfortable. Thank you, Holly, Judy, surgical staff & Dr. Ahmad for your dedication & relieving my pain.
I had a partial knee replacement done by DR. Zafar Ahmad at DECH on September 22, 2025. It went very smoothly from the time I arrived until I was discharged. From the Receptionist at the Main Entrance to the care before and after surgery was kind and caring. I highly recommend this Hospital I want to Thank Paul, Julie, Connie, Heidi, Kathleen and Debra who were in the Surgical Area on 9/22/25 Sincerely, Cheryl C.
Changing two or three stars for the lab but five stars for taking good care of me after my surgery. 10/2025. Updated response is at the end of this message Everyone there when registering for lab work is very nice, but the lab for some reason keeps missing tests. My current results just says see scanned report. There is no report on several tests which is missing. Previous lab work done they completely left off one of the tests the doctor ordered. I usually don't do reviews, but my experience was at Down East Community Hospital actually was a pleasant one. Everyone was SUPER nice and very accommodating. MRI ladies (Robin Fisher and Sherry Murphy)were AMAZING.
