I cannot say enough good things about this outfit. Ben, the owner treated me as family, their prices were more than fair, and all the pre-cut pieces were priced low. What a great experience, and a great place to buy steel!!!
They were recommended by a local welder and I had a great experience. They were open on Saturday which made things easier for me, they cut the metal I needed and didn’t charge me a fortune to do it. Great place to get steel.
I hurried to Dowling Steel after work on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving so I could do some work over the holiday weekend. Got there about 4:15pm. Annoyingly they were closed already. Advertising open till 5:00pm. Seem to open and close to their own convenience.
Totally new to welding as a hobby. Instructor recommended Dowling. They were great and helpful! First time in a steel store. Prices seemed reasonable. I left happy.
Great service and real reasonable on price. They will custom cut and sell you exactly what you need.
