I was not super happy with my experience with Dowling and associates. I really appreciated that they didn’t charge me a fee for a consultation. When I went and got my consult Jim met expectations, seemed like a level headed guy and seemed knowledgeable in the family law field. Despite this original positive experience, I called them on Monday and Tuesday of a week and informed them that Thursday of that week was when I had a good day to fit in making the drive to Fulton and giving the money for the retainer. Horrible representation during my divorce. Unprofessional, made numerous errors caught by my ex husband attorney. Did not advocate for my best interest or answer my questions clearly. If I would have been able to get my money back due to poor service, I would have., i couldnt not afford another attorney to start over. Dowling did the least possible. Basically collected his fee and not much else. Didn't even notify me when the judge finalized the settlement. I was officially divorced for 3 week before I even knew.
