My car went in to limp mode while on the QE2, was able to get it in and Dowland auto took me in to check the codes and do some diagnostics. Went above and beyond calling the Hyundai dealer to check if my engine was on warranty. Gave me reasonable, no nonsense advice. Really grateful for this family small town business!

Nothing to report except positivity when it comes to this shop. Honest, prompt, polite, fairly priced, and timely. Would absolutely go back to them again.

I had my brakes checked here summer 2023 and was told there was 40 to 50% left on my brakes (on the invoice). My previous mechanic in Edmonton (who I saw for 8 years and trusted) said they were 60% worn a year prior when I bought the car in June 2022. I've put on roughly 40,000 km since they were last checked at Dowland in 2023, and now I'm told they have 50-60% remaining. So 10% more than 17 months ago. Went in as my main mechanic was unavailable he charged me $1500 for a job my normal mechanic said shouldn't have costed more than $700 would not recommend.
