“I had a frustrating experience with this dental office. After paying my bill in full on the day of service, I kept receiving additional bills. When I contacted the office, they initially told me to ignore them, only to later demand extra fees, claiming insurance didn’t cover everything. This lack of transparency and the mix-up with billing has been extremely disappointing. I also found similar complaints from other patients. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone.”
I would advise anyone needing dental work done" Stay away from this place".They charged me for teeth cleaning and i made payment in full.Few weeks later another bill,now few years later trying to get more!STAY AWAY!
Worst experience. During oral exam, they said some of the fillings needs to be replaced, I did not have any pain prior to that. The filling replacement failed on both booths, had to deal with severe pain. Then a root canal was forced on both the fillings. I am also having billing issues with them. The outstanding amount keeps increasing with out taking any additional service.
I would NOT recommend Dowden Family Dentistry. I wish I had read their reviews prior to making an appointment. After my appointment, the front desk staff charged me a “disposal fee” that insurance would not cover. I inquired what it was for and I was told it was a fee because of COVID. (Up charging me- which it appears based on other Google reviews, they have done this to other people) I received another bill in the mail for the same charge about a month later. I would NOT recommend Dowden Family Dentistry. I wish I had read their reviews prior to making an appointment. During my appointment, Dr. Dowden made a comment that I looked younger than my age which I felt to be inappropriate based on how he said it. Normally that would be a compliment.
