I had an emergency on Friday at about 5:30 and went in. Was told an hour and a half wait and got triaged. Initially was going to get straight in but I explained my problem more thoroughly. Saw a doc within an hour and left happy. Fully bulk billed and the service was amazing. Otherwise I'd have to spend a few hours at A and E. These people really care here. My new doctors from now on
I feel really shaken by my experience here. I had an appointment with Dr Adam Girardin and was running around five minutes late. I called ahead to let them know and apologise... I understand lateness can be frustrating, and I owned that. The woman on the phone was already quite blunt, but I let it go. What I didn’t expect was the way the doctor treated me. Very rude. My wife met with young Indian women (UFS employee) for blood & fecal tests. The UFS employee was the most rude health worker I have ever seen greet her clients. Using a raised voice toward an elderly gentleman who did not ring the bell attached to the pathetic greeting sign. My wife came away quite affected by her rudeness and consistently raised voice & gruff attitude. I know nurses have to do a module on patient care and their attitude; I believe this UFS employee missed school that day. Terrible service!
