Absolutely wonderful. Every beer we tried was terrific (and we tried more than a few). The people and the vibe were awesome--energetic, but not overwhelming. I'd likely be a regular if I lived in town, and I will make a point of going back whenever I return. Don't sleep on the dried sausage.
Am I going crazy? This used to be the best helles this side of the Atlantic, but then all of a sudden one day every beer became sour in a very unappealing way. Did the yeast get infected and now they’re just running with it? The beers are undrinkable now - everything has a sour, infected tinge to it. A damn shame and fall from its former glory, I used to pimp the shit out of this place, now I can’t even drink a .3 without gagging. Like eww, seriously, the beer is gross now. I wish you the best, but damn
Absolutely love Dovetail! The barrel-aged ales are incredible and the staff really knows their stuff. A must-visit for any craft beer fan in the city.
I have loved Dovetail for a long time as a great brewery but now I can also say this is a fantastic place for hosting an event! My wife and I hosted our wedding welcome party here in their outdoor space. Rachel was so nice and helpful, especially helping us find a plan/minimum that fit our event and budget. If you've ever thought about hosting an event with them I highly recommend! Very fair pricing, great space, delicious beer, and good people!
