I do agree having to wait for the Dr for about an hour an half is frustrating but keep in mind they are drs and they do get called in on emergency’s, and it’s not the assistants fault she does have to tell many other patients that the Dr is in fact out of the office in an emergency surgery. But the assistant Gaby went out of her way and offered us a cup of coffee which I gladly accepted it was the most delicious cup of coffee I’ve had. I do agree that there is a lack of empathy in all reception relating to "Oroville Hospital" and this comes down to management setting proper goals for customer service reps. Once I see a doctor the customer care and empathy is definately there. The last thing a sick person needs is to be patronized and thats exactly what just happened to me. I saw the doctor on Tuesday after waiting for weeks and my appt was at 9:15 I was there at 9am as instructed then told he was in surgery over and over until finally I saw him at 11am. Got here at 11 am for the urgent care. Still in the waiting room. Meanwhile over a handful of people have come and registered to be seen after us and have been called back. There’s no way the girl put us in the queue/line to be seen when we initially came in and paid the co-payment. I had to ask if we were still in line to be seen. Now all of a sudden we’re next to be seen. I would hope so there’s only 2 other people left in here to be seen.
