Tranquil, Peaceful, Exceptional Idaho This is our preferred stateside Idaho destination while visiting Sandpoint. It offers exceptional accommodation, diverse unit sizes and consistently excellent hospitality. We love our American neighbours and stateside family. Resort itself is nice, but beware of all the “fine print” on the amenities etc. Pool closes at 7pm even in the summer! Ridiculous especially if you’re boating on the water all day and want to use it when you get back. If you have a boat be prepared to pay $750 USD!!! just to dock it for a 1 week stay! Highway robbery, $100/ night just to tie your boat up. That’s what most places charge for a summer of boat docking. Save your money and just launch your boat every day, they still charge for that but you won’t be paying a mortg... read more
Dover Bay Resort near Sandpoint is outstanding!!! Our family stayed in 2 bungalows - -Osorey and Duck n’Work. They were extremely clean, comfortable beds and very well equipped. Love the setting and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We used the hot tub several times and also the outdoor heated pool. Amazing! Highly recommend this property. Definitely going to book again. Thank you for providing excellent accommodations for our family stay.
