The view was great, but the host tried every way to deduct money from us. We even arranged our own cleaner, yet still ended up being charged a few hundred dollars. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there.
It's horrible. The landlord deducted money from us without any reason, and deducted nearly two thousand dollars extra! ! And he couldn't provide any evidence! ! He kept charging us high cleaning fees, and asked us to clean up all the garbage and clean the kitchen after we moved out! ! ! We asked him for evidence, and he said he would be on vacation until a month later! ! ! It's horrible! ! !
Beware! The landlord took advantage of us and deducted money without any evidence: 1. We had to clean up and dump all the garbage in the room, and we had to clean the kitchen thoroughly, but they still charged us for cleaning; 2. Because we didn't close the door outside one night and a few cows ran in, which caused the so-called fence to break (a thin rope was torn off), they called us at 6 o'clock in the morning and asked us to drive the cows ourselves. Without doubt one of the most beautiful houses in Australia. Only 1.5 hours from Sydney, Dovecote soars above the Gerringong coastline and provides the perfect getaway. When the sun is out, relax by the pool or explore the nearby beaches. When the weather is a little inclement, button up, get the fire going and experience a coastal storm at its most glorious. Absolute masterpiece.
Our stay at Dovecote was truly magical. Both the Headland and the Range are exquisitely designed spaces that blend perfectly with the stunning Gerringong landscape. The views are spectacular and everything is maintained to perfection.
