I was here for a couple of months, and the place has amazing facilitators, but the man in charge is just a mean heartless person.(We'll call him John) They'll make you come to group even when you are sick, and "they'll decide if you are too sick to stay home from group". Everything thing is all about money, they cram houses of 10+ women some of the houses only have one bathroom. My fiance was a client here and her experience was not a good one she had personal property stolen multiple times with out resolve. Exposed to an unsafe living environment. Also bullying by staff members. Because of her experience, I cannot recommend Dove Recovery.
I recently finished this program, and I have to say it was a much better experience than I expected. I've been to a few treatment centers around Columbus, and this one just felt different. Everyone was genuinely nice and treated people with respect. It didn't matter if it was the director, the counselors, or the BHTs—they all seemed to work together and actually cared about helping people.
