About all you could ask for in a dining experience.
As a resident of Portland and a "foodie", I was pretty excited to try Douro for the first time. Twelve (sister restaurant) is one of my favorite restaurants in the Old Port. I dined with two friends without a reservation. The hostess told us that they had a private party of 40 coming, but there would be no problem serving us. Yet another pretentious,,overpriced dining "experience" in portland.there seems to be one every other block here today and gone tomorrow.
A hidden and new Gem of Portland. Have been for dinner twice and brunch once and will return. Great menu always evolving. Love a vermuth list and anything that takes me back to Portugal. This staff is tight and amazing, love to see it. Ive enjoyed solo and with a large group, no notes.
