Had what should have been a pretty cut and dry case regarding custody and fraud. Spent nearly 4k on a case with high hopes that things would at least result in a new court order only to find out that the case was accepted after the statute of limitations for the motion filed. I am not sure how the attorney did not know that we were beyond the statute of limitations when this was first filed much less a year later when the case was supposed to go to court. Hired Charles Claypool in 2010 for a custody change. Not a battle, my ex wife sent my daughter to live w me willingly. Attorney took my money but never completed the case. 1-1/2 years after my daughter came to live w me her mom decided she wanted her back. Claypool advised me at this point that since it had been so long he needed her mother to resign/renotarize in order for her to stay. Obviously this wasn’t happening. I begrudgingly let her go.
